About the event
Witches, monsters, fairy tale creatures, animals and other ghost and ghouls are invited to Trick or Treat the six homes and library in Guilford Center Village Friday, October 31, from 5:00-6:00pm. At 6:00pm Laura Lawson Tucker and Bob Tucker lead a parade around the library lawn then we'll circle up to enjoy spooky songs, stories, and fingerplays. Geared for the younger set (babies, toddlers, preschoolers and grades 1-4). The library will give away a free new book to each child.
Parking will be available at the library and the Broad Brook Community Center. The library bathroom will be available. Guilford Center Road will be lined with luminaria and volunteers will help with traffic control to keep the event safe. You may want to bring a flashlight or headlamp.
